How to activate the Bitdefender subscription



Central is the one-stop security center. Here, it is possible to trigger your Bitdefender subscription using the activation code bought or received as a gift, and set up Bitdefender on any device.


The validity countdown for subscriptions acquired via our online store www.bitdefender.com will start right after the order is finalized, whatever the Central activation timestamp -- excepting Bitdefender BOX.


To activate and include a subscription for your Central account follow the steps below.


1. Proceed to Bitdefender Central and register in. If you do not have an account, then decide to create one.


2. If you do not have an active subscription on your Central account, the moment you sign in you will be prompted to activate your subscription or to buy Bitdefender. Click Publish a subscription.


If another subscription is already active in your Central account click on the My Subscriptions panel, situated on the left of the window. Next, click on + Activate using code.


3. Enter the code in the affirmation email received after buying Bitdefender.


NOTE: The email is obtained only on purchase. If you already activated this code and your product expired you will need to obtain a new one from here.


4. Click on ACTIVATE to continue.


NOTE: If you receive a"This trick was used to generate a subscription" message when entering your activation code, please first check My My Subscriptions panel to determine whether your subscription is already attached to your Central account.


5. Choose how you want to use the code, then click on ACTIVATE. As an example, you may decide to put in a separate subscription or to expand the current one.


6. Your subscription is now active on your Central!


As soon as your subscription remains active in your Bitdefender Central accounts, you should start installing & protecting your apparatus.


NOTE: Remember the activation code could be entered just once, on only one Central account. Once the subscription is still active, the code is no longer needed in the installation procedure, as all installments are handled directly from your Bitdefender Central account.


To be able to force a subscription refresh, use the Change Account button from the installed product.
